Guava BBQ Chicken Thighs
Juicy chicken thighs glazed in a sticky, tangy BBQ sauce made with homegrown Florida red guava — this tropical take on a backyard favorite is bursting with sunshine and flavor.

1 pc Red Guava
3 pcs Chicken Thighs
2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Ketchup
1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tsp Honey
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
DIRECTIONS
1) Peel the guava, cut in half and with a small spoon remove the seeds.
2) Place the guava, salt, pepper, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce
and honey in a blender and mix into a paste.
3) Soak the chicken thighs in the Guava BBQ sauce and allow to sit in the
refrigerator for at least one hour.
4) Pre-heat the oven at 350F.
5) Put the chicken in the oven with the skin up making sure it has enough
BBQ sauce to cover the whole pieces. Save the remaining BBQ sauce.
6) Cook for 15 minutes, remove from the oven, paint with the remaining
BBQ sauce and place in the oven for another 10 minutes.
